About Me

An elementary teacher from Taos, New Mexico, I am headed to Finland’s Lakes Region in January 2019 to study best practices in Finnish basic education. This Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching will allow me the opportunity to observe classrooms and conduct research for my inquiry project over a period of five months. Join me as I share what I learn about Finnish education and culture.
