Traveling to Finland

En route to Europe, I stopped in Pittsburgh to say goodbye to my two younger daughters. Being in a city, even for just a few days, helped me prepare for the next six months. Sometimes living in a small town that is 60 miles from a Target means I am a bit out of touch. When I was in Paris and Barcelona last June, I realized how countrified I have become. Let’s just say that the last time I lived in a city we used tokens to access the subway!

Pittsburgh is a lovely city that is known for its many neighborhoods, and I enjoyed getting to know more of them. We celebrated the birthday girl, I got my snuggly cat fix, and then I was off.
